Dear All,
Greetings from Guinea. God is so good and amazing. What a turn of events these few weeks.
The political situation seems to be improving with the official swearing in of the new prime minister Dore.
Elections are planned in 6 months to restore Guinea to civilian democratic rule.
Let us continue to pray for Guinea during this important transition period.
In Sambouya, soccer ministry and Sunday school continue to develop.
We have been doing soccer outreach for a little over 2 months and we can see some of the children more interested in God and the Gospel.
Thank you for your prayers and continue to pray that the seeds of faith will be planted in the hearts of these children.
Ezekiel, Mr. Benjamin’s younger brother who is living here and attending school in Faranah, is great with the younger children and is really getting involved in the children’s ministry
Noah has gone back to the school and he is also helping out with the children’s ministry.
I have recovered from my recent malaria and am now recovering from typhoid.
This explains why I did not feel well after taking all the malaria medication last week.
I am now getting treatment for typhoid and am improving daily.
Madam Rachel, Mr. Benjamin’s wife, is also recovering from typhoid.
Please continue to pray for our health and safety.
As I near the end of my time in Guinea, (3 more weeks), please pray that we can finish well, and for my safe return to the US.
Thank you so much for all your prayers and support which make our work here possible.
In the Lord, brother Chris in Guinea.
