Chris Lee Update Guinea June 19
Dear friends and brothers and sisters,
Greetings from Conakry. I finallymade it, but my two check-in bags did not make it to Conakry.
Please pray that they will arrive on the next available Air France flight.
It is almost 10 pm local time, Friday night June 19th.
I began my long journey to Guinea from LAX at 10 am on Tuesday Morning June 16th.
Due to a delay, I missed my connecting flight in Brussels and had to stay there two nights.
Brussels is a nice town, but I am no tourist. Chocolate, waffles, and fries do really taste good though in Brussels.
Unfortunately, American Airlines would not help me out and pay for anything. They said that they do not cover for delays due to weather, though mechanical error was also an issue.
I am praying that they may still cover the hotel or something.
But, my greatest need right now is for my two check-in luggage that has books and computer stuff for our school.
There are also some personal items. I am living out of my carry-on, which aint much.
I leave for Sambouya tomorrow morning with Mr Benjamin. We will carry most of Pastor Joshua's luggage up.
Praise the Lord, all 12 of his bags made it!
He and his family will stay to do logistics and hopefully my luggage will arrive by Sunday and they can bring it up with them.
Thank again for all your prayers and suppport.
It is good to be in Guinea again.
I walked into the humidity and heat, and the smells and sounds.
Se la Guinea!
I will email again, God willing from Sambouya.
In the Lord, brother Chris
